臺北市立國樂團在過去樂季的製作中,從跨領域創作找出中樂新面貌的風格,不僅提昇樂團能見度,同時也開展樂團及團員們的新視野;在未來的樂季節目安排上,除了秉持中樂發展的主體性之外,將積極培養樂團明星演奏家,並促成樂團團員與國際知名獨奏家同台表現的機會。
北市國在跨領域藝術合作中發展中樂新貌及邁向國際音樂舞臺的同時,仍秉持以中樂為主體的目標,這是持續不變的。儘管外界對臺北市立國樂團忽略中樂主體性多有質疑,但是經過焦點行銷北市國中樂新貌的努力,樂團跳脫以往傳統保守的形象,增加外界對北市國樂團創新與國際化的新觀感。
從今年下半年開始, 樂團將重新省思跨領域及中西樂交流計畫,從中再取得新平衡點,回歸中樂的主體思考與發展,提供團員更多獨奏空間,並嘗試「國際名家與團員攜手」的表演模式,創造團員與國際知名獨奏家同台合作機會, 計畫中的節目包括十月再度來台的葛蘭妮與謝崇興中西交融;十一月配合樂團舉辦的笛子比賽, 邀請法國長笛教育家阿赫杜(Ardau)來台與賴怡君攜手演出。最近樂界有許多期待北市國調整的聲音,樂團除了加強落實團員參與和國際名家同台演出的機會外,也安排名家開設大師班課程,讓團員能夠在吸收西洋演奏技巧精華後,更進一步運用在中國樂器表演中,開發出中西交融的表演特色,延續以中樂為發展主體,創造中西交流的新面貌。
Taipei Chinese Orches t ra has exhibited novelty in programming of the past seasons. This has enhanced our brand vi s ibi l i ty and equal ly broadened horizons for our members in the course. In the coming season, we will pertain to further developing Chinese music, incubate rising artists and continue to explore opportunities in collaborating with world-renowned soloists.
Whilst TCO continues on course in musical developments and sailing abroad, Chinese music remains the singular mission of our future. TCO has received much doubt to our subjectivity to Chinese music and discussions on whether we've astrayed from our course. However, TCO has undeniably put a new and global face on Chinese music through our relentless efforts to bring new collaborations and creations to our traditions.
In the latter half of 2010, TCO re-evaluate our crossover projects and rebalance ourselves to focus on exploring new possibilities for our orchestra members. Our new initiative will be providing our soloists more opportunities in collaborating and sharing the same stage with worldclass artists. This new initiative spark projects such as in October, our very own Hsieh Tsung-hsin will share stage with renowned percussionist Evelyn Glennie. In conjunction with holding the International Flute Competition in November, TCO has the pleasure to have French flutist Ardau in Taipei to concert with our Bandi member, Lai Yichun. To much anticipation of TCO's new directions, we look forward to further nurturing our members with master classes with prestige artist. Our members will crossover to absorb new western techniques and will in turn utilize and transform the essence to contribute to our goal of developing Chinese music. We believe these initiatives will strengthen our base for the future development and provide springboard to create new trends for Chinese music.
